Singer Profiles
With your free Classical Singer & Auditions Plus subscription you can login to AuditionsPlus.com and create your Singer Profile(Use your same Classical Singer username and password to login.)
Embed Your Selections
Within your Singer Profile you can embed your 2 media files (either two video, two audio, or one of each) from YouTube, Facebook, Sound Cloud or other online video or audio services. DO NOT SIMPLY PASTE THE URL of your YouTube or other clip; you need to embed the code onto your Singer Profile.
For example, via YouTube, below your video there is the option to "Share". After you select that it will allow you to selection the option to Embed. Copy the code provided and paste it into your Singer Profile. Click for instructions for YouTube or Sound Cloud.
Title Your Selections
With your Singer Profile you need to properly title each of your selections. Name your selections as Competition Selection #1 and Competition Selection #2. If you are doing the Online Musical Theatre AND the Online Classical, be sure to embed a total of 4 audio/video selections and make sure you label each selection accordingly (i.e. Musical Theatre Selection #1, Musical Theatre Selection #2, Classical Selection #1, Classical Selection #2).
Receive Feedback
Two university judges will view your Singer Profile and then provide written feedback for each selection.
Singers will be notified of their results and comments by April 20 for the National Online Round and May 15 for the Boston Region Online Round.
Advance to Next Round
Results of the Online Round will be posted on the 2013 Winners. The top half from each division (High School, University, and Young Artist) will advance to the Second Round in Boston (May 24 for the University and Young Artist divisions and May 25 for the High School division). Winners will compete in the Second Round against singers from all First Round locations.

Judging will be conducted by voice faculty from music schools throughout the country, as well as private voice teachers.
Repertoire Guidelines:
Two song selections are required.
Classical Category
Singers should have contrasting selections (art songs or arias), preferably one in a language other than English, at a level appropriate to your vocal development.
One of the selections may be a musical theater selection. Please keep in mind that the emphasis of this category is classical singing.
Musical Theatre Category
Selections can come from Broadway, off-Broadway, and revival shows.
Singers shoud demonstrate their full vocal range and different vocal sonorities as well as contrasting styles.
Singers should also be able to demonstrate strong acting abilities as appropriate to the literature.
Selections must be performed with piano accompaniment only. No other accompanying instruments are allowed.
