About Wichita State University:
The WSU School of Music Wichita State University’s School of Music is housed in Duerksen Fine Arts Center and Wiedemann Hall. Vocal degrees are offered in opera performance, voice performance, music theater and music education. Two full-scale opera and two full-scale music theatre productions with orchestra are mounted each year. Eminent voice faculty members are dedicated to the preparation of aspiring performers and music teachers. Distinguished alumnae include: Samuel Ramey, Joyce DiDonato, Allen Held, Karla Burns and Myrna Paris.
