Teachers make up an influential part of our community and teaching is a natural progression for many singers, so we have developed Teacher Spotlights
Teachers who desire the spotlight to shine on them in New York City can sign up to offer free lessons. These lessons will be open to the Convention public. Singers will sign up for them on a first-come, first-served basis at the Convention registration table.

Here are the 14 details you need to know:
1. The Classical Singer Convention is May 24-26 at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge hotel.
2. Your potential audience is 500+ singers, teachers, and parents of
younger singers.
3. The Teacher Spotlight sample lessons are scheduled for Monday at
12:00 pm. This will give you three days of the Professional Series to
tell people about your class and invite as many singers to your class
as you can.
4. Sample lessons will be 30 minutes.
5. Your 30 minute time slot should be done a voice lesson format, and
give a singer an idea of what they could expect if they choose you as
their teacher.
6. You can provide your own student for the sample lesson, or we will
help connect you with a convention participant.
7. The Teacher Spotlights will be held at the hotel in Ballroom A & C.
8. Each room holds 150 people.
9. Each room will have an upright piano for your use.
10. Accompanists are available upon request for $25.
11. The opportunity to teach a class is an opportunity exclusive to
ProSeries participants.
12. Your profile and contact information will appear on the Classical
Singer website and be included with the Convention program.
13. No additional fees are required to take advantage of this opportunity.
14. There are a limited number of spots available and will be filled
on a first-come, first-serve basis.
