TWO NEW DIVISIONS
UNDERGRADUATE -- For singers between ages of 18 - 25 with no undergraduate degree as of January 1, 2010.
GRADUATE -- For singers—with an undergraduate degree—under the age of 32 with plans of a Masters degree, in a Masters program, or who have received a Masters degree since January 1, 2009
Each singer performs one selection of his or her choice and judges ask to hear a portion of a second selection. View Guidelines & Rules.
As many as 20 singers wil advance to the Second Round.
University will provide an accompanist, but singers may bring their own.

Second Round
Friday, May 28, 2010 in New York City at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
Each singer will perform one selection of his or her choice in its entirety.
The top 30-35 singers will advance to the Semifinal Round on May 30.
Competition participants will recieve a speical discount code to participate in the Professional Track of the Classical Singer Convention for just $195 (regularly $395).
Semifinal Round
Sunday morning, May 30, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis.
Each singer will perform one seelction of his or her choice in its entirety.
The top 10 singers will then advance to the Final Round Concert that same day.
Final Round Concert
Sunday afternoon, May 30, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis.
More than $100,000 of Summer Program Scholarships offers are available to Competition participants. Programs offering scholarships include AIMS in Graz, American Singers Opera Project, Sieur du Leuth, the V.O.I.C.Experience Program, and Capobianco Opera Lab.
Classical TV will cover and air the event on their internet channel later in June to a worldwide audience.
Cash prizes will be give to the top three national winners of each Division in totals of $1,500 for First Place, $1,000 for Second Place, and $750 for Third Place.
Singers will receive immediate written feedback at the end of each round of the Competition.
One-time $75 registration fee covers all rounds of the Competition. Singers are responsible for any other expenses.
