Registration fees must be received before participating in the Competition.
Singers will come prepared with 3 contrasting selections (art songs or arias) of their choice, preferably one in a language other than English, at a level appropriate to your vocal development. At least one song must be in English.
One of the selections may be a musical theater selection. Please keep in mind that the emphasis of this competition is classical singing. Choose repertoire appropriately.
Selections must be performed with piano accompaniment only. No other accompanying instruments are allowed.
Singers will present the first selection of their choosing. Judges may then ask to hear a second selection.
Singers must bring a list, preferably word processed, with the singer's name and the titles and composers of the three selections. View SAMPLE list.
An accompanist will be provided; however, participants may bring their own if they wish. If you are providing your own accompanist, please make us aware of this before your competition time is assigned. Participation will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once all competition times are filled, registration will be closed.
