First Round Regional Date:  
Saturday, March 27, 2010

First Round Prize:  
The voice teachers and coaches of the Crane School of Music will give the competition winner 3 free lessons with a voice teacher or 3 coachings with a pianist.

Competition Schedule:  
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Check in at least one hour prior to your competition time.

Competition Location:  
Music Building of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.

Special Event:
The Metropolitan Opera and the Community Performance Series are offering 10 free tickets to participants of the Classical Singer Competition. The tickets are for the Live HD performance of Ambroise Thomas opera "Hamlet" starring Simon Keenlyside and Natalie Dessay, on Saturday, March 27th at the Roxy Theater in Potsdam 10 free tickets will also be offered to the "Encore" performance Sunday, March 28th. Both ticket offers are on a first come basis, and will be given away at registration. There is also a French Gala Dinner (all you can eat) after both performances at the La Casbah restaurant costing $30.

The Crane School was founded in 1886 by Julia Crane (1855-1923) as the Crane Institute of Music.
