About the Moores School of Music:
The Moores Opera Center at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music provides comprehensive operatic training as part of BM, MM, and DMA degrees in Voice Performance, Pedagogy, and Choral Conducting. The Center's mission is to train young singers, coaches and conductors as prominent stage performers and teachers. Programs combine sound vocal study, intensive language diction training, stage direction, career counseling, and audition techniques. MOC graduates appear with major companies including the Met, Chicago Lyric, San Francisco, Houston, Washington, Seattle, and New York City Opera.
