We believe that vocal training gives you a competitive edge in today's market place. How you say something is more important than what you say. We have developed methods that support professional singers, as well as for people who depend on their voices daily.

Who we are:
We are a mother and daughter team. We specialize in Opera and Musical Theater training. With our international opera performing and teaching credits, we are known as magnetic and exciting singers and experts in vocal development. We help you prepare for your next performance, business presentation, or audition so that you can win your audience with confidence, grace, ease and power.

We also work with talented young people, giving them a solid techqnique for singing,learning and performing. Our international credits as educators gives us over 50 years combined experience with teenagers, tweens and young children. Our students have been accepted in prestigious colleges, performing arts summer programs, and frequently star in leading roles in highschool musicals, choirs and plays.

Our sessions are fun and creative. We have lots of music scores and recordings. You will feel relaxed and comfortable with our humor and sensitivity - we've been in your shoes, but we can take you as far as you want to go. We guide you to discover your joy, inspiration, calm and energy, through the "power of your voice".

In their respective careers, Nitza and Ahdda produced many innovative song recitals, multi-media concerts and programs in Europe, Israel and America featuring premiers of Israeli and Jewish composers. Ahdda can be heard in recital yearly, on Israel's top classical music station, Kol Yisrael Radio . She has frequently been guest cantorial soloist, with major synagogues in America.

Recently in Santa Monica, California, Ahdda performed in a solo recital called "Opera Magic, Folk Songs and Surprises" accompanied by Maestro Frank Fetta, and as Cantorial Soloist for the High Holydays at the Metropolitan Synagogue, New York.

Short Bios
Nitza Niemann, dramatic mezzo-soprano,(see bio page), has been providing singers with expert vocal instruction, for over 40 years, in Southern California, Europe and Israel. A protege of the late Lotte Lehman she has taught many of Hollywood's TV and movie stars, and is an expert at teaching people at all levels. In her supportive, kind and patient manner, students thrive and grow. She an uncanny way of helping her students relax immediately and become focused in themselves and the music. Her young students consistently win awards, and take leading roles in Beverly Hills Highschool's yearly musicals, at Harvard Westlake Highschool, in musical-theater workshops, and more.

Ahdda Shur spinto soprano, made her European debut with the Zurich Oper, Switzerland in l984, and subsequently sang many roles in Europe and then with the New Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv, Long Beach Opera Company, Strassbourg Musique Festival, Deutsche Oper Berlin/San Antonio Festival, Tel Aviv Philharmonic, and others. She has performed both soprano and mezzo-soprano roles, and a wide genre of styles and repertoire. She has taught in Europe, Israel and America. She inspires her students, from beginners to professionals, to express their talents with passion, confidence and skill. She holds a Bachelors in Opera Performance and a Master's Degree in Stage Direction, from the University of Indiana School of Music, Bloomington. Virginia Zeani, was her mentor and teacher, giving her the passport into the Bel Canto technique.

Some of her students have won Grammy Awards, talent awards in major competitions, leading roles in High School and College productions, and international Choir Festival Awards.

Individual sessions are available for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and occasionally for 80 minutes. Rates are from $45-$150, depending on how long a session you pick, whether you come in for the occasional lesson, or pre-pay for a series of lessons.
