On this site, you will discover much about my background, but little that may account for the very wide repertoire of musical examples on the Sound Clips page. The fact is that throughout my career, I have usually been able to choose the repertoire I wanted to perform. What you will be listening to on this page is music that means a lot to me. You will quickly discover my passion for music theatre in all its forms -- opera, operetta and the musical -- and my love for art-song. Every one of these Sound Clips is taken from a "live" performance. Some are comparatively recent; some date back over thirty years. Early in my career, I was an organist. In fact I won an organ scholarship to Oxford University and later graduated in organ. On August 22nd and 29th 2010, I will be returning to the organ bench after a very long break! On both those Sundays, I will be playing for the 10 o'clock Mass at Christ Church, Woodbury, New Jersey. I am honored to have been asked to stand in for Richard Kurtz, who is taking a well-earned break. Do try and come to this place which has maintained such a high quality of music-making over many years.
