As a solo concert artist, she has performed with organizations such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Musica Angelica, Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Santa Barbara Symphony, and the Illinois Chamber Symphony in works such as Haydn's Mass in Time of War, Lindberg's Graffiti, Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, Bach's Magnificat, St. Matthew Passion,and Christmas Cantata, Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Faure's Requiem. She has toured Vienna, Budapest, and Prague in both Mozart's Requiem and Vesperae solennes de confessore, and in 2007 she performed Haydn's Theresienmesse in Rome and Florence with Nova Amadeus Orchestra and in Munich with the Seuddeutsche Kammer Philharmonie. Most recent solo engagements include Bach's St. Matthew Passion with Musica Angelica and the LA Master Chorale in March 2010 at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Vaughan Williams' A Sea Symphony at the newly renovated Granada Theater in Santa Barbara with the Santa Barbara Chorale Society and Orchestra in May 2010, and Bach's Mass in b minor with the same organization in February 2011. This past August, she sang the soprano solos in both the Verdi Requiem and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Junge Kammerphilharmonie Freiburg during their North America tour with performances at Memorial Church in Stanford, Ca, and Honolulu, Hawaii with the Honolulu Symphony Chorus. Ms. Bevard has an expanding studio of private voice students in Los Angeles, and is a faculty member of the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. |
