Jodi Keogan is one of the most enchanting artists to be found in the world today. She sings with a delightful and appropriate combination of head and heart. As a result, her talent has taken her around the world from the Bahamas to Germany and from the Philippines to Italy, where she has been particularly successful. As a student, Jodi participated in Boston University’s Young Vocalist Program at Tanglewood. She has been trained by the likes of Antonio Pappano of the Royal Opera House, Joan Dornemann and Charles Riecker of the Metropolitan Opera, the late and great Eleanor Steber, and has been conducted by Sergio Rendine, Maurizio Dones, Seiji Ozawa and Maestro Gabrielle Bellini. She has an extensive repertoire and maintains an active performing schedule in the United States and abroad. In 2002 Jodi made her debut in an Italian Opera house singing the lead role of Adina in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore. She performed Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Pamina in The Magic Flute and most recently, the role of Mimi in Puccini’s La Boheme. Other operas that Jodi has performed are La Traviata, Carmen, Pagliacci, Faust, Nabucco, Medea, Tosca, Le Nozze di Figaro, Cavalleria Rusticana, Turandot, Madam Butterfly, The Saint of Bleeker Street, Lucia, Cosi Fan Tutte, Don Pasquale and Rigoletto, to name a few. Jodi boasts a broad spectrum of music and has been seen at the Westport Levitt Pavilion, First Night of Westport, as well as Don’t Tell Mama’s and the Duplex in Manhattan singing cabaret. Jodi is the featured soprano with the Subway Regional Symphony Orchestra in New Haven, CT and appears with them annually.
