She teaches individuals and groups, has conducted college and church choirs, and has taught courses in Vocal Pedagogy and Singer's diction (English, Italian, French and German). To greater understand how body functioning can improve the voice and reduce tension, Christie studies and teaches "Body Work." And believing that communcation of dramatic ideas is at the core of any successful performance, she has also studied acting, movement and performance enhancement techniques.

My own performing experiences reflect my interest through a wide range of musical repertoire, languages, acting and dance.

Christie holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she was also a President's Scholar. She earned her BA in vocal performance and music history from SUNY at Freedonia, NY, graduating Magna cum Laude, and was also an Honors Recitalist.
