Salvatore Champagne has developed a reputation as a premiere teacher of young, classical singers. Having enjoyed a ten-year career singing leading tenor roles throughout Europe, he joined the faculty of his alma mater, Oberlin Conservatory, in 2004. His students have since won many prestigious competitions, including the Metropolitan Opera Council auditions, and appear regularly with elite young artist programs and performing organizations through the United States and Europe. He has served as jurist for the Queen Elisabeth International Singing Competition and the Fulbright screening committee, and appears regularly in master classes throughout the US.
